    The scones

Website suggested parking avail in rear for two @10 per day.Site filled with construction mat'l and forklift truck. No spaces avail.Space on street limited to first come and resident permits on housing side.Could not wear shoes on premises.Rooms had no bathroom privacy.toilet in plain view from 90% of room. Jacuzzi tub was raised approx 28 inches from floor with tiled wall enclosing and faucets mounted on side where you tried to enter and in full view of entire room.My wife has mobility issues and could not safely enter the tub to shower.Informed innkeeper that we could not stay past first day because of these issues.she turned surly and said we were to pay for whole stay of three days. Not knowing my rights in Canada , I paid and went back to states. Was worth the price just to get out of there.Claimed the property was Victorian decor but was more nondescript.Room had no dresser to store clothes.Property sprung leak and two rooms had no water service on Tuesday morning the 25th of Sept.We had no water upon arising.Website showed room layout with 4 poster alongside of fireplace but not in our room. The innkeeper said I could park in rear along fence of neighboring property near construction material. The b&b is in a tiny row home . Very deceptive website pics.Need advice on whom to contact in Montreal to recoup 426.00 charge for two days not able to stay there

Excellent service, great design, delicious breakfast. Perfect for romantic getaway. People in the b.b were very helpful in choosing food, attractions and shopping. Overall great atmosphere, clean tidy rooms, felt like luxury home away from home.

    Nothing. Was a great experience.

Le Petit Prince is a really good value compared to the other hotels in the area. Pam's breakfasts are amazing- homemade scones, stuffed crepes, etc- you can skip lunch after this meal. The rooms are quaint, fun and comfortable. Ours had a private balcony and a jacuzzi for two. The hotel is only half a block from the Lucien L'Allier Metro stop so access to wherever you want to go in Montreal is a breeze. You are also only a few blocks from the St Catherine Street shopping district.

Metro access is really easy, but we found we preferred the Plateau Mont Royal neighborhood and seemed to head there via metro daily. If this gem were on the plateau, it would be flawless.

pam was an absolute delight; words can't describe how refreshing it was to have her as our host for the weekend. the room was one of the most charming rooms ever, and was exactly as described. we couldn't have chosen a better place. seriously. to top it all off, the breakfasts went above and beyond any i have experienced at any other b&b's - both delicious and creative. i will never stay anywhere else in montreal but here going forward, let me tell you. le petit prince is a precious gem in an otherwise mediocre world of b&b's. trust me!

i loved everything about le petit prince... i wouldn't have changed a thing.

This place is simply great. Great location, great service, cozy room with facilities one would expect from 5 star hotel ...

A comfortable homey newly renovated appartment building just outside of downtown Montreal. Although somewhat pricey, it's worth the money. Pam your hostess is a fund of knowledge about Montreal and her recommendations for restuarants was excellent. Breakfasts are home cooked and are to die for. There are no bathrooms, just a screened nook for the toilet. It took some getting used to. There are whirlpools in every room.

We had a fireplace in our room which smelled quite smokey. For some reason they want the damper left open even in the summer. We closed it and that solved the smell. They do use scented detergent/softener so its bothersome if you have sensitive lungs. I'm sure they would fix that if given enough advanced warning. It is quite a climb to get to the rooms. This is not a place for someone who has difficulty with stairs.

Pam made wonderful breakfasts and the room was cozy. Bed was incredibly comfortable.

The toilet in the actual bedroom was unexpected, and the view was a bit shoddy.

Lovely setting, clean and charming. Breakfast was delicious. Free wireless was included in the price. Easy access to Metro.

Pam (hostess) was intense: loud and quick to anger. She got very short- tempered with us as guests, which didn't help us feel welcomed.

We loved the jacuzzi and the balcony right in the bedroom. Breakfast was great too.

Not having a separate toilet might make things a bit uncomfortable/awkward. Pam, the only person that runs the place, gives guests an attitude. Sometimes it feels she just wants to prove the guests wrong. Her cooking and the place are great, but dealing with her was a bit difficult.

The aesthetics were very pleasing and the location was convenient to restaurants, shopping and the metro.

The website stated the building had internet, but on the top floor we could not receive the signal so it forced us to go to the lobby level. The air conditioning was very inadequate on the top level as well. We brought it to the staff's attention and she was unresponsive to our needs. Although the "gourmet" breakfast was prepared expertly, there needed to be a choice and a self service type of refreshment available in the afternoon. The cost was on the high end which did not meet the service we received.

The gourmet breakfasts were excellent, freshly prepared and every day something totally different, with fresh juice, fresh fruits, and delightful treats. The beds were comfortable and some of the bedrooms (at least ours) had a jacuzzy for two. Establishment was within a short walking distance to the metro (subway system).

There is no elevator ... and our room was on the third floor ... quite a hike for old folks.

The location was fantastic for the event we were attending. The accommodations were comfortable, cozy and felt like being at home!! Pam made us some delicious breakfasts to start our day and she gave us some excellent help in navigating the city! Over all we loved our stay and would definitely come back.

Paying for the 4 days when we were only using 2 nights for the race weekend made the stay a bit pricey. If we come back for the f1 race, we will probably stay elsewhere due to the cost for that weekend.

The jet hottubs...our host was hilarious, and helpful in navigating the city. Breakfasts everyday were filling and unique.
